About

Born in 2000 in Kyrenia, Cyprus, she graduated from the Department of Plastic Arts at Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design (ARUCAD) in 2022. In 2024, she completed an MA in Fine Art at Prague City University in Prague. She is currently based in Cyprus and is a PhD candidate in Proficiency in Art at ARUCAD University in Kyrenia, continuing to work with painting, ceramics, and textiles.

“As an islander who was born and raised in Cyprus, being surrounded by the sea has shaped my personality and my artistic practice. Growing up near the beach and knowing that there are limits to where I can access or pass has made me wonder more about the far and the deep ocean. Everything around us is constantly growing, changing, living, degrading, and dying. It is a cycle to which all life forms are connected. My artistic practice is concerned with ecology, climate change, and the ocean, driven by an endless curiosity and exploration.”
